Delete your data

How to delete specific data from your Dreamurti account without deleting the account itself.

You don't have to delete your whole Dreamurti account to remove specific data. Most of what we store can be deleted individually, right inside the app.

Delete a dream entry

1. Open Dreamurti and sign in.
2. Open the dream entry you want to remove.
3. Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right of the dream.
4. Choose Delete dream and confirm.

Deleting a dream entry permanently removes its text, any attached photos, any voice recording, and any location tag. If the dream was part of a mutual-dream pairing, the mutual-dream record is also removed.

Delete a comment you posted

1. Open the dream that your comment is on.
2. Long-press your comment.
3. Tap Delete and confirm.

Remove a photo from a dream

1. Open the dream and tap Edit.
2. Tap the photo and choose Remove.
3. Tap Save.

Disconnect a linked social account

1. Go to Profile → Settings → Connected accounts.
2. Tap the linked account you want to remove (X, TikTok, Snapchat, Facebook, Instagram, or WeChat).
3. Choose Disconnect and confirm.

Disconnecting an account removes the link and any imported handle or contact data sourced through that account. The underlying account on the third-party service is not affected.

Clear your phone number

1. Go to Profile → Settings → Profile.
2. Clear the phone number field and tap Save.

Request a deletion by email

If you can't access the app or you want to request deletion of something not listed above, email contact@dreamurti.com from the email address on your Dreamurti account. Tell us exactly what you'd like deleted (specific dreams, all photos, location tags across all dreams, etc.). We'll verify the request came from the account owner and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What we keep, even after partial deletion

• Aggregate analytics events — anonymized, no user identifier.
• Content reports you filed against other users — kept for moderation history.
• Crash and diagnostic logs — retained up to 90 days, then purged automatically.
• Legal records — anything we're required by law to retain for the minimum period required by applicable law.
