Delete your account

How to permanently delete your Dreamurti account and the data associated with it.

You can request deletion of your Dreamurti account at any time. There are two ways to do this:

Option 1 — Inside the app (fastest)

1. Open Dreamurti and sign in.
2. Tap the Profile tab.
3. Open Settings (the gear icon in the top-right).
4. Scroll to Delete account.
5. Confirm with your password (or, for Google / Apple sign-in, the prompt for that provider).

Your account is queued for deletion immediately. Permanent removal completes within 30 days.

Option 2 — By email (if you don't have the app installed)

Email contact@dreamurti.com from the email address associated with your Dreamurti account, with the subject line "Delete my account". We'll verify that the request came from the account owner and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Your profile (display name, username, bio, avatar, phone number)
• All of your dream entries — text, photos, voice recordings, and location tags
• Your comments, likes, mentions, and follows
• Your mutual-dream records (the matched-dream connections you've created with other users)
• Your authentication records, push notification tokens, and contact-matching data
• Connected-account links (X / TikTok / Snapchat / Facebook / Instagram / WeChat)

What is kept (and why)

• Aggregate analytics events — fully anonymized (no user identifier), retained for product analytics.
• Content reports you filed against other users — kept for moderation history and policy enforcement.
• Crash and diagnostic logs — retained for up to 90 days for debugging, then automatically purged.
• Legal records — anything we're required by law to retain (e.g., responses to a valid legal process) is kept for the minimum period required by applicable law.

None of the data we keep can be used to identify you personally after the deletion completes.

If you change your mind

For 30 days after you request deletion, you can cancel the request by emailing contact@dreamurti.com from the same email address. Once the 30-day window closes, the deletion is final and cannot be reversed.
